The main entrance on Via Ricasoli 58/60 is fully accessible, with step-free entry and a spacious ticket/security area. Wheelchair users and one companion enter free with valid disability ID.
All exhibition halls are accessible via ramps and elevators, with tactile signage, Braille, and high-contrast lettering for visually impaired visitors. Accessible restrooms are available near the lift. Assistance dogs are welcome.

The type of ticket you have and the entry you are using also affect the average wait time. With skip the line tickets and guided tour tickets you can enter the gallery quickly, usually under 15 minutes.
Accessible entry is provided on the right-hand side of the gallery for those with mobility issues.
You must stand in the queue (the blue point) for the ticket counter and once you get the tickets, you can enter through the main entrance.
In order to bypass the long waiting queues, you can choose guided tours that offer skip the line access. This way, you get to enter the museum quickly and benefit from the expertise of a local tour guide.
The Accademia Gallery is open from 8:15am to 6:50pm, from Tuesday to Sunday. The gallery stays closed on Mondays.
